Welcome to our web site. My name is John Kephart. Following my retirement from the Army after 24 years of service, my wife, Sherry and I relocated back to San Antonio, Texas where we met. My calling career started on 22 May 1976 in Okinawa, Japan. Since then, I have called at local, state and national square dance conventions in 15 different states, in Panama and in Germany. Currently, I call for one club in the San Antonio area (Stars N Spurs [formerly the T-Squares])and two in the Kerrville area (Kerr-Li-Ques & Kerrville A’s).  You can get information about these clubs from our club listing on this web site.

I have taught numerous basic and mainstream classes and four 16 week Caller Classes for new callers. I am an Accredited Callerlab member and have held office in several Callers’ associations. Throughout my years of calling, I was part of the Mason Dixon Line Quartet formed in 1985 in New Jersey. Our members were John Carlton, Pete Diven, Ralph Trout and myself.
